Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage field survey operations for diverse projects including:
- Topographic surveys
- Subdivision development
- MnDOT infrastructure
- Heavy highway and bridge construction
- Architectural site development
- Construction layout and mapping
- Produce accurate and detailed survey plats, topographies, and boundary surveys in compliance with industry standards and Minnesota regulations.
- Mentor Survey Interns in modern surveying technologies including robotics, laser scanning, GIS systems, and precision measurement techniques.
- Ensure all survey deliverables meet high standards of accuracy, regulatory compliance, and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Licensed Professional Land Surveyor in Minnesota (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of:
- Topographic and boundary surveys
- ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys
- Subdivisions, easements, plats of vacation
- Construction layout
- Proficiency in CAD, drafting, and general computer systems including Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Passion for mentoring and developing junior team members
