Project Controls Manager/CPM Scheduler
LVI Associates are seeking an experienced and driven Project Controls Manager to join our clients team, supporting the delivery of complex infrastructure and commercial projects. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in civil engineering or construction management, and a proven track record of managing project controls and scheduling across transportation, commercial developments, and data center projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage project controls functions including planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management, and reporting.
- Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using industry-standard tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Analyse project delays, identify root causes, and develop mitigation strategies to support timely delivery and reduce exposure to claims.
- Support claims analysis and dispute resolution by providing detailed project records and delay impact assessments.
- Monitor project performance and provide accurate forecasting and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment of project objectives.
- Implement best practices in project controls and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and present reports to senior leadership and clients.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in project controls within the construction or infrastructure sectors.
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience working on transportation, commercial, and data center projects.
- Proficiency in project controls software and tools.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Desirable Skills
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CCP, PSP) are a plus.
- Experience with earned value management (EVM) and risk analysis tools.
- Familiarity with digital project delivery platforms and data analytics.
