Due to continued growth within their Utilities practice, they are seeking a Project Engineer to support the planning, design, and delivery of critical water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

The Role
As a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer, you will lead the planning, design, and execution of water distribution and wastewater collection system projects.
Projects will include:
- Water Distribution Systems
- Wastewater Collection Systems
- Pump Stations
- Storage Facilities
- Utility Infrastructure Improvements
- Municipal Water & Wastewater Capital Projects
You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders to deliver reliable and resilient infrastructure solutions that support growing communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning and design efforts for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Prepare and review engineering designs, specifications, and technical documents.
- Manage project execution and coordinate project teams.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and client standards.
- Support utility infrastructure and pump station design projects.
- Coordinate with internal disciplines and external stakeholders.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineering staff.
- Manage multiple project tasks while maintaining quality and schedule expectations.
- Support the delivery of sustainable and resilient infrastructure solutions.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License.
- 4 - 10 years of Water/Wastewater infrastructure experience.
- Experience with utility infrastructure and pump station design.
- Strong project coordination and communication skills.
- AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and project tasks.
- Interest in mentoring and developing junior engineers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
