As part of continued growth within their utilities practice, they are seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to lead the delivery of critical infrastructure projects while developing long-term partnerships with municipal clients.

The Role
As a Water/Wastewater Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and delivering a variety of municipal utility projects, including water distribution, wastewater collection, and treatment infrastructure improvements.
You will work closely with clients, technical staff, and project teams to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects from planning through construction.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for municipal clients.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff.
- Support project pursuits and business development initiatives.
- Oversee project financial performance, forecasting, and reporting.
- Ensure projects meet quality, regulatory, and client requirements.
- Contribute to the continued growth of the utilities practice throughout North Carolina.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License.
- 7- 15 years of Water/Wastewater engineering experience.
- Experience managing municipal utility projects.
- Strong project management and client relationship skills.
- Experience leading technical teams and coordinating project delivery.
- Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and contract management.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Public sector project experience preferred.
