Project Manager
A multidisciplinary engineering firm specializing in civil and MEP services is seeking an experienced Professional Engineer (PE) to join our team. This role will focus on land development projects for a diverse range of clients, including education, commercial, institutional, municipal, and infrastructure sectors across the United States.
The engineer in this role will be partnering closely with clients by aligning with their goals, processes, and teams. Key Responsibilities
Apply civil engineering principles, methods, and techniques related to land development, including:
- Drainage and stormwater systems
- Water distribution systems
- Sanitary sewer systems
- Parking lots and roadways
Utilize Civil 3D software to prepare exhibits and construction documents
Use stormwater management and modeling software to support design and permitting
Review applicable regulations, codes, and standards for project compliance
Analyze reports, maps, drawings, and geotechnical/topographical data to support design decisions
Make independent engineering decisions within project scope
Work under general guidance from senior engineering staff
Ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance of engineering designs, reports, and plans
Maintain adherence to project budgets, schedules, and internal standards
Perform site investigations and provide construction observation services
Minimum Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Strong project coordination and delegation capabilities
- Experience managing medium to large-scale engineering projects
- Comprehensive knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulations
- Expertise in preparing and reviewing engineering plans, calculations, and specifications
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal permitting processes
- Ability to lead, mentor, and supervise junior engineers and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills
- Experience supporting business development efforts (proposals, client relationships, etc.)
- Excellent client communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to perform and oversee QA/QC processes consistently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven project management skills including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation

- Experience supporting marketing and business development initiatives
- Ability to manage and develop multiple project teams
