Project Manager | Ground Improvement & Geotechnical Construction

Join a leading design-build geotechnical contractor delivering complex ground improvement projects across data centres, industrial facilities, LNG, infrastructure, and commercial developments. This is a high-ownership Project Manager role focused on engineered ground improvement solutions rather than traditional heavy civil construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage ground improvement projects from award through closeout.
- Oversee budgets, forecasting, cost control, schedules, and project profitability.
- Lead client communication and act as the primary point of contact throughout project delivery.
- Coordinate engineering, estimating, field operations, procurement, and subcontractors.
- Review contracts, negotiate change orders, and manage project risk.
- Support project planning, execution, quality control, and safety performance.
- Monitor field progress and ensure successful delivery of engineered geotechnical solutions.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously across the Houston and Gulf Coast region.
- Support business development efforts and help grow existing client relationships.
Requirements
- Project Management experience within geotechnical construction, ground improvement, deep foundations, specialty civil, or heavy civil construction.
- Strong commercial understanding of project financials, forecasting, contracts, and change management.
- Experience delivering construction projects in industrial, infrastructure, energy, commercial, or data centre markets.
- Familiarity with ground improvement methods such as rigid inclusions, stone columns, soil mixing, dynamic compaction, wick drains, or related geotechnical solutions preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders including clients, engineers, field personnel, and subcontractors.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Civil Engineering degree preferred but not essential for candidates with strong construction project management experience.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
