Quality Manager

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead all quality assurance and quality control activities on a large-scale data center construction project. This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining site quality processes, ensuring compliance with project specifications, managing inspections and audits, and driving a culture of quality throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mission critical construction, excellent leadership skills, and experience working closely with construction, engineering, commissioning, and subcontractor teams to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site QA/QC activities from project startup through turnover.
• Implement and manage the project's Quality Management Plan.
• Establish quality procedures, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and reporting processes.
• Conduct routine field inspections and quality audits across all trades.
• Monitor compliance with contract documents, project specifications, codes, and industry standards.
• Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and root cause investigations.
• Review and approve quality documentation submitted by subcontractors and vendors.
• Coordinate punch list development, tracking, and closeout.
• Support system turnover and commissioning activities to ensure a smooth handover process.
• Track quality metrics and provide regular reporting to project leadership.
• Facilitate quality meetings and promote continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with construction, safety, engineering, and commissioning teams to proactively identify and resolve quality concerns.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of construction quality management experience.
• Experience working on mission critical, data center, industrial, power, or large-scale commercial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of QA/QC processes, quality systems, and field inspection procedures.
• Experience managing inspections, NCRs, punch lists, and project turnover documentation.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction quality management platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Data center construction experience.
• EPC contractor experience.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or similar industry certifications.
• Experience supporting commissioning, startup, and systems turnover processes.
• Familiarity with electrical, mechanical, and critical infrastructure systems.
