This opportunity is with a global manufacturer of activated carbon and carbon regeneration solutions serving water, wastewater, air, and industrial purification markets. The organization supports municipal and industrial clients across drinking water treatment, PFAS removal, odor control, wastewater polishing, emissions control, and process applications. With vertically integrated manufacturing and reactivation facilities worldwide, the company is known for technical reliability, long-term customer partnerships, and application-driven sales. They are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to grow and manage a defined territory, working directly with municipalities, industrial end users, engineers, and channel partners. The role is a mix of field sales, technical consultation, and account strategy development.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a regional sales territory across municipal and industrial markets.
- Develop relationships with end users, consulting engineers, and distributors.
- Provide technical guidance on activated carbon selection, system performance, and applications.
- Prepare pricing, quotations, and commercial proposals while managing an active pipeline.
- Track opportunities, forecasting, and account activity through CRM tools.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
- Travel regularly within the assigned region.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related technical field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in technical sales, water treatment, filtration, or industrial process solutions.
- Understanding of activated carbon, adsorption, or treatment processes is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Organized, self-directed, and comfortable managing a long sales cycle.
