Regulatory Affairs Manager - ERCOT
- Represent the company in ERCOT stakeholder meetings, regulatory proceedings, and industry working groups.
- Monitor and analyze regulatory, legislative, and market developments impacting the Texas power market.
- Develop and advance regulatory strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Coordinate external consultants, technical advisors, and legal counsel on regulatory matters.
- Build and maintain relationships with regulators, policymakers, industry associations, and market participants.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to assess market rule changes and emerging policy initiatives.
- Prepare presentations, analysis, and strategic recommendations for internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in ERCOT, regulatory affairs, energy policy, utility regulation, or wholesale power markets.
- Strong knowledge of ERCOT market structures, stakeholder processes, and the Texas regulatory environment.
- Understanding of competitive electricity markets and market design principles.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
