A respected civil engineering firm in the Hartford, Connecticut area is seeking a Director of Traffic Engineering to support and lead key initiatives within its transportation practice. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support traffic and safety engineering projects across Connecticut.
  • Manage client accounts and foster long-term relationships.
  • Assist in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Monitor project performance and contribute to achieving profitability goals.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on operational and strategic planning.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to professional development initiatives.
  • Promote high standards of quality and client service across the team.

Qualifications:

  • 15 + years experience in Traffic engineering
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable with public speaking and client presentations.
