Position Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Originate and develop commercial opportunities within the Japanese power market
- Build partnerships with renewable energy developers, asset owners, retailers, and aggregators
- Structure and negotiate power, renewable energy, and flexibility-related agreements
- Identify optimization opportunities for solar, BESS, and other energy assets while working closely with trading teams
Requirements
- Renewable energy markets
- Power trading, retail electricity, or energy aggregation
- Solar and/or Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
- Commercial origination, business development, or asset optimization
Preferred Background
- Strong understanding of the Japanese electricity market
- Existing network with developers, retailers, aggregators, or asset owners
- Experience structuring commercial energy transactions
- Ability to independently originate and execute deals
