Roadway Engineer
LVI Associates is currently partnered with a leading regional firm across the Southeast. They are looking to bring on a Roadway Engineer to join the Transportation team out of Raleigh. In this exciting role, you'll be working on a wide variety of transportation projects, including:
- Roadway design plans
- Traffic management plans
- Pavement marking layouts
- Signing plans
Projects may include bridge replacements, multi-lane widenings, and interchange designs, as well as innovative solutions like intersection improvements, roundabouts, and superstreets. This is a great opportunity to apply your creativity and technical skills in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting.

What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (required)
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) (required)
- Minimum of 5 years of roadway design experience
- Proficiency in MicroStation, Geopak, and Corridor Modeling (required)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with OpenRoads Designer
- Familiarity with NCDOT standards and processes
- Experience in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment
