A leading organization in the infrastructure and technology sector is seeking a seasoned Safety & Risk Management professional to oversee and elevate safety operations across multiple project sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create engaging safety training programs tailored to diverse project needs.
- Lead onboarding sessions, including OSHA 10/30 and CPR/First Aid certifications.
- Improve training materials and hands-on learning experiences.
- Interpret and apply key safety codes and standards (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E, NESC).
- Evaluate training effectiveness and make improvements.
- Mentor safety team members and promote knowledge sharing across departments.
- Stay current with evolving safety regulations and practices.
- Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders to develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Participate in client and contractor meetings to advise on safety planning and compliance.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in safety management
- Strong knowledge of OSHA standards (1910, 1926), EM-385, and safety management systems.
- Familiarity with ANSI Z10, ISO 31000, and related frameworks.
- Recognized safety certifications (e.g., OSHA 500/502, GSP, CESCP) or willingness to pursue ASP, CSP, or CHST.
- Proven experience in training delivery and curriculum development.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Additional Details:
- Local travel up to 30% (within a 2-hour radius).
- Must be comfortable with extended screen time and occasional physical activity (e.g., site visits, training demos).
