Sales Manager - Industrial Automation

Houston, TX | Hybrid

A growing automation and engineering solutions provider is looking to add a Sales Manager to its Houston-based team. This role will focus on developing new business, growing key customer accounts, and supporting clients across the energy, utilities, industrial, and infrastructure markets.

Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain relationships with end users, EPCs, OEMs, and other industrial stakeholders

* Identify and pursue new business opportunities across automation, controls, electrical, software, and digital technology solutions

* Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to contract award

* Conduct customer meetings, presentations, and solution discussions with technical and commercial decision-makers

* Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting

* Collaborate with engineering and project teams to develop solutions aligned with customer requirements

* Grow existing accounts while identifying opportunities for additional services and solutions

* Travel within the region to support customer engagement and business development activities

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline

* Experience in technical sales, business development, or account management within industrial automation, energy, utilities, manufacturing, or related sectors

* Background selling automation, controls, software, electrical, or industrial technology solutions

* Proven ability to generate opportunities, develop client relationships, and win new business

* Understanding of industrial automation, control systems, system integration, or digital transformation projects

* Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills

* Experience using CRM systems and pipeline management tools

* Willingness to travel as needed throughout the territory
