Scheduling Manager- Data Center Construction Projects
A nationally respected construction and project controls consultancy is seeking an experienced Construction Scheduler to support complex, large‑scale construction programs. This role offers the opportunity to work on high‑profile projects across multiple sectors, collaborating closely with owners, project teams, and field leadership.
The Role
The Construction Scheduler will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing detailed CPM schedules to support project delivery from early planning through completion. This position may be based in Buffalo, NY, with flexibility for candidates who are open to travel or relocation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update CPM schedules for active construction projects
- Create baseline schedules and perform regular progress updates
- Conduct critical path analysis, schedule logic reviews, and what‑if scenarios
- Support delay analysis, recovery schedules, and risk mitigation planning
- Prepare schedule reports and communicate impacts to project stakeholders
- Work closely with project managers, superintendents, owners, and consultants
- Support fast‑track and multi‑phase construction environments
Qualifications
- Experience in a Construction Scheduler or Project Scheduler role
- Strong proficiency with Primavera P6 (required)
- Background supporting large‑scale construction projects (commercial, industrial, infrastructure, mission‑critical, healthcare, higher education, or similar)
- Solid understanding of CPM scheduling principles
- Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple project schedules
