The Opportunity
We are seeking a senior level carbon consultant with a strong background in Mandatory Climate Reporting, climate science, and climate modelling. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and technical expert who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support client engagements focused on climate-related disclosures (e.g., ISSB, TCFD, and other regulatory frameworks).
- Develop and apply climate models to assess physical and transition risks.
- Translate complex climate data into actionable insights for clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate climate science into carbon market strategies.
- Stay abreast of evolving climate reporting standards and regulatory developments.
About You
- 5+ years of experience in climate science, carbon consulting, or environmental risk analysis.
- Proven expertise in mandatory climate reporting frameworks and climate scenario analysis.
- Strong technical skills in climate modelling tools and data interpretation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Based in Sydney or Melbourne, with the right to work in Australia.
