We are partnering with a leading engineering consultancy to appoint a Senior Civil Design Manager to lead major road infrastructure programs across Western Australia. This is an opportunity for an experienced design leader to take ownership of large‑scale projects and drive excellence across multidisciplinary teams.
The Role
As the Senior Civil Design Manager, you will:
- Lead and manage OpenRoads design teams delivering complex road and highway projects.
- Oversee design development across multi‑million‑dollar MRWA programs, ensuring technical quality and project alignment with client standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to guide delivery from concept through detailed design.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and capability development across the civil design function.
- Contribute to design strategy, resource planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
You will be a strong fit if you bring:
- 15+ years' experience in civil design within the transport or infrastructure sector.
- Proven experience delivering Main Roads WA projects.
- Advanced proficiency in OpenRoads Designer.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage, mentor, and coordinate design teams.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and the ability to operate in fast‑paced, complex project environments.
