Senior Civil Engineer
An established Arkansas engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Civil Engineer to support its continued growth across the state.
This opportunity would suit a technically strong engineer with project experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Land development
- Stormwater and drainage
- Roadway and transportation infrastructure
- Water distribution and wastewater collection
- Municipal and public infrastructure
The successful candidate will take an active role in the technical delivery of civil engineering projects, working alongside experienced engineers on assignments that directly improve local communities.
The Role
- Lead and support the design of civil infrastructure projects
- Prepare plans, specifications, calculations, and technical reports
- Coordinate with clients, internal teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies
- Provide technical guidance and quality control throughout project delivery
- Support project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and permitting
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their technical development
- Assist with client relationships and the continued growth of the Arkansas operation
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- Professional Engineer license, or the ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity
- Strong technical design and project delivery experience
- Background in land development, stormwater, roadways, water, wastewater, or municipal infrastructure
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams
- Experience managing projects or mentoring engineers would be advantageous
