A growing site development contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee projects from preconstruction through completion. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in earthwork, grading, underground utilities, and site construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage site development projects from award through closeout
- Oversee budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and procurement
- Coordinate closely with Superintendents and field crews
- Track project costs, change orders, and overall performance
- Review civil plans, specifications, and contract documents
- Communicate with clients, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors
Qualifications
- 3+ years of project management experience in heavy civil or site development construction
- Strong background in earthwork, grading, excavation, and underground utilities
- Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with project management and cost-tracking software preferred
