Senior Control Engineer
Overview
We're hiring a Senior Systems & Controls Engineer to design and deliver control systems for complex, highly regulated environments. This role focuses on distributed control systems, digital safety platforms, and plant monitoring solutions supporting next generation reactor technologies and modernization efforts.
You'll own work across the full lifecycle, from concept through deployment, with a mix of hardware, software, and system level engineering.
What You'll Do
- Design, configure, and test distributed control systems and associated infrastructure
- Define system requirements and translate them into functional designs and specifications
- Lead system integration across PLCs, FPGAs, SCADA, and data acquisition platforms
- Develop and execute test plans, including system validation and troubleshooting
- Work with vendors to evaluate and procure components
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to meet technical and regulatory requirements
- Support deployed systems and resolve performance or reliability issues
- Contribute to continuous improvement across engineering processes
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience with DCS, PLCs, FPGAs, or SCADA systems
- Strong background in systems engineering across both hardware and software
- Experience working in regulated or safety critical environments
- Ability to lead technical workstreams and make system level decisions
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- U.S. person status required
- Strong communication and documentation skills
