The Role
You will be the technical anchor for drainage on transportation projects, the person the team and the client rely on to get it right. That means running H&H analysis, making design decisions on stormwater conveyance systems, and seeing projects through from concept to construction. You will also be developing the engineers around you.
The Work
* Transportation drainage across a range of project scales and complexity
* Hydrologic and hydraulic analysis tied to real infrastructure decisions
* Stormwater systems, culverts, bridge hydraulics, detention facilities, and channel work
* Plans, specs, and quantities, owning the drainage package
* Client-facing technical lead responsibilities
* Mentoring and growing junior staff

* Utah PE license
* Recent experience on state DOT projects in Utah, this is the one non‑negotiable
* Local market knowledge, county and municipal project familiarity

The Package
* $115,000 to $180,000 base depending on experience
