Senior Environmental Remediation Consultant - Client Lead

A well‑established, environmental remediation consulting firm is seeking an experienced seller/doer to support and grow its remediation practice. This role is ideal for a technically strong professional who enjoys balancing project delivery with client development and account growth.

The Role

  • Serve as both a technical lead and client-facing consultant on environmental remediation projects
  • Manage and deliver remediation work while identifying and advancing new business opportunities
  • Leverage existing client relationships and develop new ones across industrial, commercial, and regulatory sectors
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, supporting projects from investigation through remediation and closure

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage remediation projects involving soil, groundwater, vapor intrusion, and related media
  • Support or lead design and implementation of remediation systems (in situ and ex situ technologies)
  • Maintain and grow an existing book of business; identify opportunities to expand services with current clients
  • Participate in proposal development, scoping, and pricing efforts
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure high-quality project execution
  • Represent the firm in client meetings, presentations, and industry engagements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering (or related technical discipline)
  • 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting with a remediation focus
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) or equivalent professional credential strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience delivering remediation projects and managing client relationships
  • Proven ability or interest in generating new work and growing client accounts
  • Strong communication skills and comfort in a client-facing role
