Senior Environmental Engineer
We are seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer to lead and manage environmental investigation and remediation projects across diverse sectors, including utilities, manufacturing, oil & gas, mining, and renewable energy. This role offers the opportunity to tackle complex environmental challenges using advanced technologies such as high-resolution site characterization and innovative remediation system design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage environmental site assessments, hydrogeologic investigations, and remediation projects from concept through implementation.
- Design and oversee remediation systems, including in-situ remedies, cover systems, and treatment systems.
- Prepare scopes of work, budgets, proposals, and client deliverables; ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff.
- Interface with regulatory agencies and clients; support business development efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in environmental engineering and remediation projects.
- PE license preferred.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, permitting processes, and compliance standards.
- Experience with emerging contaminants (PFAS) and coal combustion residuals (CCR) strongly preferred.
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification require
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Salary: $135,000 - $200,000 (based on experience)
