With 50+ years in business and a workforce of roughly 1,000 professionals across the Southeast, this firm delivers multidisciplinary civil, geotechnical, environmental, and engineering services across a wide range of markets, including energy, transportation, private development, environmental services, and waste management.
The Opportunity
This is a high-impact role for a geotechnical professional who enjoys both technical leadership and business development. The successful candidate will be responsible for converting geotechnical expertise into new project opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and helping drive the firm's strategic growth across Florida.
You'll have the autonomy to build and grow the geotechnical market while being fully supported by a deep bench of technical experts and an established regional platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead geotechnical business development efforts across Florida
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with public and private sector partners
- Identify new opportunities and convert them into long-term geotechnical work
- Provide technical oversight and strategic input on geotechnical projects
- Collaborate closely with civil, environmental, and engineering teams
- Play a leadership role in market expansion and team growth
Ideal Background
- Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred
- Proven experience delivering geotechnical engineering services
- Demonstrated success in client development or market growth
- Strong understanding of Florida geotechnical conditions is a plus
