Compensation: $125,000 to $170,000, based on experience and qualifications

The Role
A senior, relationship-driven geotechnical engineer focused on geohazards, infrastructure design, and construction defect investigations, supporting the Infrastructure and Development team in Fort Collins. This is a role for someone ready to own technical delivery, mentor junior staff, and help drive client relationships and new work.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and help lead project management across geohazard, infrastructure, and construction defect work.
- Oversee and mentor junior engineering staff.
- Interface directly with clients and serve as a trusted technical point of contact.
- Assist the market sector lead with marketing, proposals, and cost estimates.
- Support project work for other market sectors as needed.
- Contribute to construction management activities.
Requirements
- B.S. in Civil Engineering, Geologic Engineering, Engineering Geology, or a related discipline.
- M.S. in Geotechnical Engineering.
- Colorado P.E. license required; P.E. in other Southwestern states a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in infrastructure design, geohazard analysis and design, and construction defect investigations.
- Litigation support, deposition, and trial testimony experience a plus.
- Business development experience or genuine interest in driving client relationships and new work.
