Senior Landscape Architect
Role Overview
We're seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to lead complex site design projects, mentor junior staff, and serve as a design leader across multidisciplinary teams. You'll have the opportunity to influence public and private development projects from concept through construction, contributing to transformative spaces throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the landscape architecture vision and execution for large-scale infrastructure and development projects
Collaborate with civil engineers, planners, and environmental scientists to deliver integrated design solutions
Oversee the preparation of site plans, planting designs, grading, and construction documents
Coordinate with clients, consultants, and local agencies to guide projects through permitting and approvals
Mentor and manage junior landscape designers and technical staff
Represent the firm in client meetings and industry events
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture
Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant professional experience
Licensure as a Registered Landscape Architect (RLA) in Texas, or ability to obtain within 6 months
Strong understanding of site planning, grading, drainage, planting, and sustainability practices
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Adobe Creative Suite, and preferred experience with GIS, SketchUp, or Lumion
Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills
