About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong project management capabilities to lead complex building systems projects across a variety of sectors including sports, healthcare, education, and commercial development. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile, technically challenging projects that push the boundaries of innovation and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design efforts for HVAC, plumbing, and building systems from concept through construction.
- Manage multidisciplinary project teams, budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
- Coordinate with architects, electrical engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee production of detailed design documentation using Revit and other BIM tools.
- Ensure compliance with energy codes, sustainability goals, and performance standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical excellence across the team.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- PE license preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in MEP design and project management.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and energy modeling tools.
- Strong understanding of building codes, LEED, and sustainable design principles.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience delivering projects in sectors such as sports, healthcare, education, or civic infrastructure is a plus.
