The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Pipeline Engineer (PE) to serve as a technical leader in the planning, design, and delivery of water, wastewater, and reclaimed water conveyance systems. This individual will play a key role in shaping design standards, mentoring engineers, and supporting large, multi-disciplinary infrastructure programs nationwide.
This role is ideal for a senior engineer who wants to remain deeply technical, influence the direction of major projects, and take on increasing leadership responsibility-without stepping away from engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and perform design for large-diameter water and wastewater pipelines, force mains, gravity sewers, and pressure systems
- Develop pipeline alignment studies, hydraulic modeling, and alternatives analyses
- Prepare and review plans, profiles, technical specifications, and construction cost estimates
- Support trenchless and open-cut pipeline design, including HDD, jack-and-bore, and microtunneling
- Coordinate with geotechnical, structural, roadway, utility, and environmental disciplines
- Provide construction-phase services including shop drawing review, RFIs, and construction support
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers in conveyance design and best practices
- Support proposal development and technical interviews through subject-matter expertise
Required Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) License
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related discipline)
- Significant experience in water and/or wastewater pipeline and conveyance design
- Strong technical expertise in hydraulics, pipe materials, corrosion control, and constructability
- Experience with industry-standard hydraulic and design software
- Ability to serve as a technical authority and collaborate across multi-office project teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
