Senior Project Engineer, Renewable Energy
Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid)
- Lead engineering coordination from development through commissioning and project turnover.
- Manage technical interfaces between EPCs, vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Review designs, specifications, studies, and engineering deliverables for quality and compliance.
- Support procurement activities, including RFPs, technical evaluations, and contract negotiations.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering efforts and resolve technical issues during construction and commissioning.
- Monitor engineering progress, risks, schedules, and project documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred).
- 12+ years of experience with utility-scale solar, wind, and/or battery energy storage projects.
- Strong understanding of power systems, interconnection requirements, and industry standards.
- Experience with power system modeling tools such as ETAP, PSCAD, PSSE, or similar.
- PE license preferred.
- Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.
- Ability to travel as needed.
