About the Role
My client is seeking a Senior Building Envelope Project Manager to lead complex façade inspection and restoration projects under NYC's FISP/LL11 program. This is a senior-level position requiring both technical expertise and strong leadership skills. The successful candidate will oversee project delivery, manage client relationships, and mentor junior staff while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage building envelope projects from inception to completion.
Conduct and oversee FISP/LL11 inspections and reporting.
Supervise and mentor project teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Liaise directly with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to maintain strong relationships.
Visit project sites 2-3 times per week to monitor progress and resolve issues.
Provide senior-level project management duties including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Ensure compliance with NYC regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of experience in FISP/LL11 projects.
At least 3 years of experience managing projects and leading teams.
RA or PE license in New York strongly preferred.
Strong technical knowledge of building envelope systems and restoration practices.
Excellent communication and client management skills.
Ability to balance fieldwork with office-based project management responsibilities.
