The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead roofing and building envelope consulting projects across the Midwest and nationwide.
This role is ideal for an individual with strong technical roofing expertise who enjoys a combination of project management, field investigations, client interaction, consulting, and construction oversight. You'll have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects while mentoring junior staff and serving as a trusted advisor to clients.
You can be based in Wisconsin, Illinois, or Indiana, Wisconsin is preferred. Travel will primarily involve inspection work throughout Wisconsin, with additional project work across the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage roofing and building envelope consulting projects from inception through completion.
- Maintain strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor throughout project delivery.
- Perform roof and building envelope assessments, investigations, and condition surveys.
- Complete Quality Compliance Observation (QCO) site visits and construction monitoring.
- Review contractor work for compliance with project specifications.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, repair recommendations, and construction documents.
- Lead pre-bid meetings, pre-construction meetings, and progress meetings.
- Conduct field investigations, test openings, moisture surveys, and roofing assessments.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and staffing resources.
- Mentor and oversee field personnel and project support staff.
- Assist with proposals, business development initiatives, and client presentations.
- Coordinate with contractors, owners, architects, and engineering teams throughout project execution.
Desired Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in roofing consulting, building envelope consulting, restoration consulting, or construction project management.
- Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems is required.
- Strong understanding of exterior building assemblies is preferred.
- Experience conducting roof inspections, condition assessments, and construction observation.
- Excellent client-facing communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience preparing technical reports and specifications.
- Comfortable working both in the field and remotely.
- Willingness to travel throughout Wisconsin and occasionally nationwide.

- Registered Roof Observer (RRO)
- Registered Roof Consultant (RRC)
- Registered Waterproofing Consultant (RWC)
- P.E or RA license
