Senior Project Manager - Data Center Construction

Our client is a leading consulting and project delivery firm specializing in mission critical facilities, hyperscale data centers, and complex infrastructure environments. With decades of experience supporting some of the world's largest technology and cloud providers, they are known for delivering high-performance solutions across the full project lifecycle, from planning and design through construction, commissioning, and operational readiness.

As a result of continued growth across Texas, they are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale data center construction projects.

The Role

This is a client-facing leadership position responsible for managing the successful delivery of mission critical construction projects from early planning through commissioning and handover. You will work closely with owners, design teams, contractors, commissioning providers, and key stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients while providing day-to-day leadership across all phases of project execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of large-scale data center construction projects across Texas
• Manage projects through planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, reports, and key performance metrics
• Drive project execution by coordinating architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, and commissioning teams
• Monitor construction progress and proactively identify schedule, budget, and operational risks
• Facilitate project meetings and provide regular updates to clients and senior leadership
• Review change orders, contract deliverables, and project controls to ensure alignment with project objectives
• Support site activities, quality assurance processes, and commissioning efforts through project completion
• Ensure projects meet client requirements, operational goals, and industry best practices
• Mentor junior project management staff and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• 7+ years of data center construction experience
• Experience delivering mission critical, colocation, hyperscale, or cloud infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of design management, construction delivery, MEP systems, commissioning, and project controls
• Proven experience managing contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within fast-paced project environments
• Excellent client management, communication, and leadership skills
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
