I'm partnering with a leading national general contractor that is looking to add an experienced Senior Project Manager to its growing mission-critical team in Ohio.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to continue working on large, complex data center projects while being part of a well-established local operation with a focus on work across Ohio and the surrounding region.
The Role
As Senior Project Manager, you'll take ownership of major project packages and oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout, working closely with field leadership, trade partners, clients and internal project teams.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Lead the delivery of large-scale data center and mission-critical projects
- Manage project budgets, schedules, procurement and cost controls
- Oversee subcontractor buyout, contracts and change management
- Work closely with Superintendents and MEP teams to drive project execution
- Manage relationships with clients, design teams and key project stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate project risks before they impact schedule or budget
- Lead project meetings and provide clear reporting on progress and financial performance
- Mentor and develop Project Managers, Assistant PMs and Project Engineers
- Support preconstruction, estimating and project planning activities
- Maintain high standards across safety, quality, schedule and commercial performance
What We're Looking For
- Strong Project Management experience with a general contractor
- Previous experience within data centers, mission critical or similarly complex technical construction
- Proven experience managing large project values and multiple subcontractor packages
- Strong understanding of MEP-intensive construction
- Experience managing budgets, contracts, schedules and change orders
- Excellent client-facing and leadership skills
- Ability to lead and develop project teams
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline preferred, although equivalent industry experience will be considered
