Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in water and wastewater treatment plant construction. This is a unique opportunity for someone who knows how to build complex treatment facilities, lead large project teams, and take ownership of major projects ranging from $100M+ to $400M+ in value.

This role will focus on managing large scale water and wastewater treatment plant projects across Texas, including active and upcoming work in:

Austin / Central Texas
San Marcos Area
Corpus Christi
Houston

Responsibilities

Lead construction operations for large water and wastewater treatment plant projects.
Manage project budgets, schedules, staffing, subcontractors, and client relationships.
Drive project performance related to safety, quality, cost, and schedule.
Mentor Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Managers.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules.
Coordinate with field leadership to ensure successful project execution.
Identify and mitigate project risks.
Maintain strong relationships with owners, engineers, and key stakeholders.
Support regional growth initiatives and future project pursuits.

Qualifications

Extensive experience managing water and wastewater treatment plant construction projects.
Proven success delivering large, complex infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of project scheduling, planning, and execution.
Ability to lead large project teams and mentor developing project managers.
Thorough knowledge of construction operations, contract administration, budgeting, and project controls.
Willingness to travel extensively and work on-site as project needs require.
Degree not required. Relevant project experience and technical knowledge are what matter most.
