Senior Project Manager - Water/Wastewater Lead
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager - Water/Wastewater Team Lead to spearhead the expansion of our municipal water and wastewater engineering services in the Houston area. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and business development acumen. The ideal candidate will drive project success, foster client relationships, and play an integral role in shaping our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and grow the municipal water/wastewater engineering practice in Houston.
Develop client relationships and identify new project opportunities.
Manage project scope, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and oversee project execution.
Assemble and guide technical teams, including internal staff and sub-consultants.
Implement and uphold quality control standards across all project phases.
Serve as a mentor and leader to engineering staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth.
Maintain active engagement in local industry associations and professional networks.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Texas.
10+ years of experience in municipal water/wastewater/reuse engineering design.
Strong foundation in engineering principles and problem-solving methodologies.
Demonstrated success in planning, designing, and constructing municipal water/wastewater infrastructure in the Houston area.
Established relationships within the local municipal water and wastewater sector.
Experience in business development, including proposal writing and client engagement.
Proven ability to manage projects financially and deliver profitable results.
Strong communication skills for effective presentations, team coordination, and client interactions.
Leadership experience in recruiting, mentoring, and developing engineering teams.
