Senior Roadway Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Roadway Engineer Project Manager to lead and manage transportation infrastructure projects from planning through construction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roadway design, project management, and client coordination, with a focus on delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead roadway engineering projects including planning, design, permitting, and construction oversight.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, structural, environmental, and traffic engineers.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
• Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, cost estimates, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal transportation standards and regulations.
• Mentor junior engineers and support staff.
• Conduct site visits and inspections as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 8+ years of experience in roadway design and project management.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as MicroStation, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and roadway design tools.
• Strong understanding of AASHTO, FHWA, and DOT standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with DOT projects (TxDOT, Caltrans, etc.).
• Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Knowledge of environmental permitting and utility coordination.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
