Key Responsibilities
- Lead structural design projects across a variety of building types and market sectors.
- Perform and oversee structural analysis, design calculations, and construction document preparation.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, owners, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and technical deliverables.
- Review engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications for quality and accuracy.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
- Support construction administration activities, including site visits, submittal reviews, and RFIs.
- Maintain client relationships and support project delivery from design through construction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licence required.
- Experience designing building structures using a variety of structural materials.
- Proficiency with Revit and BIM 360.
- Experience leading projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and project deliverables.
- Strong understanding of structural design, building systems, and applicable codes with experience working on commercial building design projects.
