Senior Water Resources Engineer / Project Manager
Loctation: Greenbelt, MD
7+ years' experience | PE required

My client is looking to bring on a Senior Water Resources Engineer / Project Manager to support a strong and growing pipeline of work across Maryland. This role combines technical delivery with project leadership and client-facing responsibility, making it a great fit for someone ready to take ownership of both projects and relationships.

Responsibilities

Complete complex hydrologic and hydraulic analyses
Design water resources improvements, including:
- Stream restoration
- Dam improvements
- Storm drain systems
- Stormwater management retrofits
Prepare construction documents and secure all necessary approvals
Oversee the full project lifecycle from feasibility through construction
Manage client communication and maintain strong relationships
Lead construction observation and documentation
Manage engineering/CAD technicians, surveyors, and sub-consultants
Oversee the quality and delivery of all engineering documents

Required Experience

Professional Engineer (PE) license in Maryland, or ability to obtain within 3 months
7+ years of water resources engineering experience
Strong experience across all phases of project delivery, including:
- Feasibility and conceptual design
- Detailed design and construction documentation
- Permitting
- Construction management and documentation
Proven ability to lead projects and engage directly with clients

Desired Experience

Familiarity with permitting in:
- Montgomery County
- Prince George's County
- Howard County
- Maryland SHA and MDE
Experience with:
- AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Microsoft Project
- ArcGIS
Local ties to Prince George's County are a plus
