Compensation: $135,000 - $185,000+ DOE, Bonus Eligible
A growing engineering consulting firm is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer to support the delivery of critical infrastructure projects for municipal and utility clients throughout Southern California.
This is an opportunity to join a collaborative team where experienced engineers play a visible role in project delivery, client engagement, and technical leadership. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and design of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Prepare and oversee technical deliverables, including reports, plans, specifications, and calculations.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams throughout project execution.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and client communication.
- Support water distribution, wastewater collection, pumping, storage, and treatment improvement projects.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Participate in client meetings and contribute to business development efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline.
- California PE license required.
- 8+ years of experience in water and wastewater consulting.
- Experience delivering municipal infrastructure projects.
- Strong project management and client communication skills.
- Ability to lead technical teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with Southern California utility and municipal clients is highly desirable.
