Our company is growing its operations, and we have an excellent opportunity to hire a Solid Waste Engineer to contribute to our Waste Management Practice in Sacramento, CA. As a Solid Waste Engineer, you will assist in expanding the practice in market sectors that include traditional Solid Waste and Industrial Waste. You will be responsible for developing new business, managing existing client relationships, managing projects, mentoring junior staff, making hiring recommendations, and providing direction on a variety of projects for private and public sector clients.
The pay range for this position is between $100,000-150,000+ based on experience and location (in addition, we offer overtime pay and other great benefits).
Qualifications:
- 6-10+ years' experience in the Solid Waste industry including engineering design, operations, and management
- Demonstrated business development and client management experience required
- Strong professional relationships with clients in applicable market sector(s)
- B.S. in Civil, Geotechnical, or Environmental Engineering (M.S. a plus)
- California Professional Engineering (P.E.) Licensure
- Sound understanding of business principles of consulting projects and related project delivery tools
