As a Senior Stormwater Engineer, you'll take ownership of high‑impact work such as:
- Stormwater systems for residential, commercial, and regional land development projects.
- Floodplain analyses, compensating storage, and FEMA coordination (LOMR/CLOMR) for critical infrastructure and master‑planned communities.
- 2D hydraulic modeling to evaluate complex flow dynamics, conveyance systems, and infrastructure impacts.
- Regional watershed and flood studies that inform planning, permitting, and resiliency decisions.
- BMP selection and design (including nutrient load reduction) to meet evolving standards.
You'll collaborate with project managers, mentor junior staff, and engage directly with clients and review agencies - bringing practical, technically sound solutions to complex or constrained sites.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in stormwater design, hydrology/hydraulics, and permitting.
- Bachelor's or Master's in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Active Florida PE license (required).
- Extensive knowledge of FEMA, FDEP, and local stormwater regulations.
- Proven success leading projects, mentoring engineers, and managing clients.
- Strong technical writing, communication, and organization skills; excellent judgment and critical thinking.
- Proficiency with advanced stormwater modeling tools and AutoCAD Civil 3D; experience with:
- ArcGIS Pro
- HEC‑RAS (1D/2D)
- SWMM / ICPR4 / StormWise
- HydroCAD / Hydraflow Express
