Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct on‑site structural and building envelope assessments for commercial, industrial, and public sector facilities.
  • Support design and evaluation work such as roof deck repairs, beam and girder replacements, and structural framing reviews.
  • Develop expertise in roofing, waterproofing, façade systems, and enclosure performance with full training and mentorship provided.
  • Assist with commissioning, restoration consulting, and facility condition evaluations.
  • Prepare calculations, reports, drawings, and recommendations using tools such as RISA and in‑house analysis software.
  • Travel occasionally-typically 0-2 times per month-to project sites across various U.S. regions.

Requirements

  • At least 2-4 years of experience in structural engineering
  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Strong desire to learn building envelope principles and participate in field‑based engineering work.
  • Familiarity with structural analysis software (RISA or equivalent preferred).
  • Located in Wisconsin or open to being based there.
  • EIT preferred; PE track encouraged.
