Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on‑site structural and building envelope assessments for commercial, industrial, and public sector facilities.
- Support design and evaluation work such as roof deck repairs, beam and girder replacements, and structural framing reviews.
- Develop expertise in roofing, waterproofing, façade systems, and enclosure performance with full training and mentorship provided.
- Assist with commissioning, restoration consulting, and facility condition evaluations.
- Prepare calculations, reports, drawings, and recommendations using tools such as RISA and in‑house analysis software.
- Travel occasionally-typically 0-2 times per month-to project sites across various U.S. regions.
Requirements
- At least 2-4 years of experience in structural engineering
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Strong desire to learn building envelope principles and participate in field‑based engineering work.
- Familiarity with structural analysis software (RISA or equivalent preferred).
- Located in Wisconsin or open to being based there.
- EIT preferred; PE track encouraged.
