Structural Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
Perform structural analysis and design for buildings, bridges, and other structures using steel, concrete, wood, and masonry.
Prepare and review construction drawings, specifications, and calculations.
Manage and coordinate multiple projects, including budgets, timelines, and client communication.
Conduct site inspections and structural assessments to evaluate existing conditions and provide recommendations.
Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, standards, and regulations.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and drafters.
Review and approve submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings as part of the construction administration process.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Minimum of 7 years of structural engineering experience, preferably in a consulting environment.
Proficient in structural design software such as SAP2000, ETABS, RAM, or RISA, as well as AutoCAD and/or Revit.
In-depth knowledge of building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, etc.).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage projects independently and work collaboratively in a team setting.
Experience with seismic and wind design is a plus.
