Role Overview
The Structural Project Engineer will work closely with a Project Manager and contribute technical expertise across design, calculations, drawings, and field reviews. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex engineering problems, and wants to grow into a senior-level technical leader.
Key Responsibilities
Technical
Perform structural design, calculations, and analysis with guidance from senior staff.
Prepare construction documents and assist with technical reports and specifications.
Review submittals and ensure alignment with design intent.
Use BIM and design software to develop accurate, high-quality deliverables.
Research and analyze data to support project planning and design.
Coordination & Communication
Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and other design partners.
Communicate effectively with clients and project stakeholders.
Develop working knowledge of building codes, permitting requirements, and client expectations.
Leadership & Professional Development
Manage multiple assignments with overlapping deadlines.
Build relationships with clients and design team members.
Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture.
Required Skills & Attributes
Proficiency with Revit
Strong communication and comprehension skills

Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field
PE certification preferred
Work Environment
Primarily office-based with computer work

Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
