Team lead - Land acquisition
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Lead Land Acquisition to drive the identification, negotiation, and securing of high‑quality sites for wind and solar projects in Germany. In this role, you will lead a small team, develop acquisition strategies, and play a key part in building a strong long‑term project pipeline.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead and support the land acquisition team, ensuring effective planning and execution.
- Identify, evaluate, and secure suitable sites for wind and solar projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners, municipalities, and local stakeholders.
- Negotiate land use agreements, leases, and easements.
- Coordinate closely with project development, legal, and technical teams.
- Contribute to regional market strategy and pipeline growth.
Your Profile
- Experience in land or site acquisition, land lease negotiations, or early-stage project development.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Existing network in regions such as NRW, Hesse,RP, or Lower Saxony is a plus.
- Ability to lead and mentor a small team.
- Knowledge of permitting and regulatory processes for renewable energy projects.
- Fluent German; English beneficial.
- Structured, proactive, and confident with stakeholders.
