Building Automation Technician / Programmer (Tridium Niagara)

Are you a skilled Building Automation professional who can take a project from installation through to programming, graphics, commissioning, and troubleshooting?

We are actively seeking an experienced Building Automation Technician / Programmer with strong Tridium Niagara expertise to join a growing and well-established controls team. You'll be working on large-scale commercial and industrial projects, delivering complete building automation solutions while enjoying genuine opportunities for career and salary progression.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop Niagara solutions from the ground up
Program and configure Tridium Niagara systems from scratch
Create and develop custom graphics and user interfaces
Install and commission Building Automation Systems (BAS)
Integrate HVAC, mechanical, and energy management systems
Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and optimisation
Support project delivery from installation through final handover
Work closely with project managers, field technicians, and clients

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of Building Automation or Controls experience
Strong hands-on experience with Tridium Niagara
Ability to program systems from scratch without relying on existing templates
Experience developing graphics and front-end visualisations
Installation, commissioning, and field troubleshooting experience
Experience working on multi-thousand-dollar controls projects
Strong understanding of HVAC controls and BAS integration
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
