Water Treatment Construction Project Engineer
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer to join their team in Oxnard, California, supporting the construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in civil, mechanical, or environmental engineering and a passion for infrastructure that supports sustainable water management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate construction activities for water and/or wastewater treatment plant projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and design teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Review engineering plans, specifications, and submittals for compliance and constructability.
- Monitor site progress, safety compliance, and quality assurance.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including reports, schedules, and budgets.
- Support procurement and contract administration processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
- Experience in construction engineering, specifically on water and/or wastewater treatment plant projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- California PE license is a plus but not required.
