Water/ Wastewater Construction Superintendent
A leading heavy civil and environmental construction firm in the Northeast is seeking a skilled and experienced Water/Wastewater Superintendent to oversee field operations on complex infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with a strong background in treatment plant construction and team leadership.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily field operations on water and wastewater treatment facility projects.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal crews to ensure efficient and high-quality execution.
- Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and inspectors to address field challenges.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including daily logs and progress reports.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy civil or environmental construction, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Demonstrated expertise in water/wastewater treatment plant construction.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and scheduling.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
