The company is in an expanding phase and now searching for result-focused with technical knowledge and business minded approach Project Managers as important contributor to the continuous growth of the company by delivering submarine cable system projects in the areas of offshore wind farms projects, from planning to execution, whilst ensuring and maintaining world class quality and support, both locally and globally.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including cable routing, installation strategies, and timelines.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure cable systems meet project specifications and standards.
Quality Assurance:
- Implement quality control measures to ensure the integrity and reliability of submarine power cables.
- Conduct inspections and testing procedures to verify compliance with industry standards.
Budget and Cost Management:
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient resource allocation.
- Monitor expenditures and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising project quality.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular project updates and addressing concerns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, environmental experts, and regulatory authorities.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
- Proactively address unforeseen challenges during cable installation and operation.
Environmental and Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permits related to cable installation and operation.
- Work closely with regulatory bodies to obtain necessary approvals for project activities.
Requirements:
- 5 years' experience in related role, industry
- Bachelors in electrical (preferable), mechanical or civil engineering
- License: Project management qualification (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
- Able to work in Taipei but also in Kaohsiung in the future
