Our client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Civil/Water Resources Engineer to join their growing team. With a minimum of 5 years of experience and possessing a PE License, the ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing drainage solutions while ensuring erosion & sediment control measures are maintained.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or water resources.
* Valid PE license with knowledge of HEC-RAS software
* A minimum of five years' relevant work experience
Skills Required:
Water Resource Management
The successful applicant should possess comprehensive expertise regarding surface/groundwater management techniques such as hydraulic modeling through H&H analysis.
Drainage Engineering
As part of this role's responsibilities include designing effective storm-water systems that can withstand intense rainfalls.
Erosion & Sediment Control
Knowledgeable on best practices for reducing soil runoff into local watersheds by creating strategies to prevent sediment from leaving construction sites using E&S controls like SWM (Storm Water Management) plans.
Technical Skills Needed:
AutoCAD - The ability to use AutoCAD efficiently helps ensure accurate designs throughout projects.
OpenRoads - Knowledge about Open Roads allows engineers who design roadways more quickly create geometric alignments within multiple different models easily.
